We don’t have to accept failure.
We can once again live in a well-managed county.
We must set priorities and be willing to rethink our past decisions.
The status quo is unacceptable
The core functions of county government are public safety and public infrastructure. Let’s refocus county government on these essential needs. We have allowed ourselves to become focused on details, while missing the overall vision of where we should be going.
Deteriorating infrastructure, public camping and addicts dying on the streets is not what anyone wants. Multnomah County residents expect, and deserve, much better.
